They (Newbury) started with the Kick Off. We started well with a few attacks but for some reason we just couldn’t score! After 15 minutes we started to play more of a team and passed the ball around. Their defence stopped from attacking sometimes but of course we were great too. Newbury had some good attacks but we were strong and stood up to them. Second half we started with the kick off and we had an attack straight away almost got there but the defence stopped it. It was Josh on the run and it was absolutely amazing! He had a good turn over somebody then ran through the next standing people and the keeper came crashing into him and unfortunately for Josh he got injured on his calf. Later on in the game Oscar had the ball on the wing and delivered a great cross into the box which Adam had a great attempt at a bicycle kick and clipped the ball but it went wide. Suddenly the opposition had a few attacks so we built a defence to block them. All in all it was great match and ended up with the score of 0-0 but we all enjoyed it.

After he game that we should have won we got to the hotel rooms and got dressed for the exciting day ahead. Once we were ready we went to luch. The menu was mild chicken curry or jacket potatoes and dessert was ice cream, fresh fruit or apple crumble. It was all really nice.

Then we got into the bus and drove to a mini golf centre. But sadly, it was closed so we went to a different area halfway across the island (editors note: about 10 minutes away!) In the end it was worth it with 18 holes and two courses. While we there we met some Barking and Dagenham players. At the end there was a cage in it. I had Slush Puppies and crisps. Finally we found out our scores. Last was Adam and first was Alex. After, we all came back and enjoyed the day. Now we were all hungry and want an enjoyable dinner.
