Match report

On Saturday 10 October, OBPSFA travelled to West Kent’s home ground. The team were excited to be playing together for the first time.

From kick off, OBPSFA were looking strong. Noah scored a great goal from a half volley from the edge of the box, assisted by Cruz. Cruz then went on to score the second goal, which he slotted into the bottom corner. OBPSFA had scored 2 goals in the first 10 minutes.

For the first half, the team played well together and had several good attempts at scoring another goal – no one would know that it was the first time that they had played together. West Kent also showed some good passing, which led to a goal. At half time, the score was 2-1 to OBPSFA.

OBPSFA took a little bit of time to settle into the second half of the game. Then from a corner, Isaiah scored an amazing goal! It hit the side post and landed in the net. The score was now 3-1.

George continued to make some great saves. Alex, Dylan, Harlee and Harry were like rocks at the back. Liam and Hugo did a great job linking up from the mid-field and the wing.

There was less than 5 minutes to the final whistle and some good passing was going on between Luca, Cruz and Henry, which ended with Luca scoring! The team put in a very strong performance… the game ended 4-1 to OBPSFA.
