Jersey Festival: Blues 3 v Hackney 1

Today, we had won against Hackney 3-1 at 11:15am and battled well. It was a hard game, however we managed to hold our ground.

As the game kicked off, Hackney had a fast start threating to score nearly twice in the space of two minutes but the boys held on.

After 5 minutes Freddie scored a blinding freekick for our first goal from the half way line. Ten minutes after the first goal happened another goal came. It was from Harry. The build up to the goal was: Dexter received the ball, passed it to Lukas and he sprinted past the defence and sqaured the ball to Harry who put the ball past the keeper.

Later on Aneurin swung in a magestic corner to Dexter who sloted the ball into the back of the net.

Five minutes later Hackney got a freekick and luckily* scored from it.

* Manager edit: It wasn't lucky, it was a good strike :-)
